(19) The FTIR spectra of rosemary exhibited the following absorption bands: broad absorption, band peaking at 3414.50 [cm.sub.-1], corresponding to OH stretching bands of alcohols and/or carboxylic acids vibrations, followed by peaks at 2929.63 [cm.sub.-1] and 2854.70 [cm.sub.-1], assigned to vibration of the -C[H.sup.3] asymmetric stretching and symmetric stretching absorption band of the methylene group vibration, respectively.

The absorption band around 370 nm is ascribed to polaron band transition.

In the region around 3600 to 3000 cm-1 the HA presented a strong and wide absorption band attributed to the symmetrical and/or asymmetric angular stretch of the O-H bond of hydroxyl groups capable of forming hydrogen bonds, mainly carboxylic acids, alcohols and phenols.

There is an intense absorption band between 1650-1800 nm, which is attributed to the overtone of the second harmonic of C-H bond, one absorption band centered at 1200 nm, corresponding to the overtone of the third harmonic of C-H bond, and other absorption band centered at 1400 nm that corresponds to the 2v(CH) + S(CH) combination band [15].

The IR spectra of the PE-BIO films without exposure to C[O.sub.2] laser radiation show an IR absorption band at 1740 [cm.sup.-1] and stretching vibration of carbonyl group (C=O), whereas the IR spectrum of the LDPE films shows this band after being exposed to C[O.sub.2] laser radiation.

On the contrary, coordination of fluoride anion with 8-hydroxyquinoline containing azomethine imine 4 is accompanied by a pronounced "naked-eye" effect (change in solution color from yellow to bright purple) due to the appearance of a new absorption band at 555 nm (Figure 5(a)).

The stretching vibration absorption band of N-H at 3400 [cm.sup.-1] was observed in TiDDC.

In the presence of interstitial [O.sub.2] molecules Si-Cl groups can be transformed to interstitial [Cl.sub.2] molecules [5], which give rise to 328 nm (3.78 eV) optical absorption band [2].

The absorption band is characteristic of the high-level excitonic excitation absorption of a semiconductor, clearly showing the successful deposition of Pb-Sb-S QDs on the ZnO surface.

A broad and smooth absorption band in the wavenumber Range from about 400900 [cm.sup.-1]reveals the formation of Al-O vibrations [13].

Unlike the previous approach, we obtain results that are applicable over the entire absorption band. We also extend the theory to rectangular and triangular lattices for which there are no finite-array results to compare with.
