Name:
Named in honor of Vyacheslav Sergeyevich Gruzdev (Вячеслав Сергеевич Груздев) (1938-1977), a mineralogist with the Institute of Mineralogy and Geochemistry of Rare Elements (IMGRE), Moscow. He studied antimony-mercury deposits and died during geological research.
