I had the same problem on Ubuntu 16.04 with installed libnss3:amd64 2:3.28.4-0ubuntu0.16.04.3

Check path ~/.local/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/

If the catalog contain: libnss3.so libnssutil3.so libsmime3.so libssl3.so nss

Remove the files
