2very unlikely to be RAM-related if the same task fails twice (the physical addresses used in physical RAM will be different every boot). This looks more like a bug in your kernel's graphics card driver.Marcus Müller– Marcus Müller2024-10-15 11:13:28 +00:00Commented Oct 15, 2024 at 11:13

@MarcusMüller Yes, the weird thing is that I have 2 that work and 2 that don't work, the software is the same on all of them. The graphics is the built in on the J6413.CraftyMyner– CraftyMyner2024-10-15 11:33:21 +00:00Commented Oct 15, 2024 at 11:33

@CraftyMyner: We are experiencing a very similar issue on Debian 12, but with a different processor (i5-9500). When the freeze happens we are not even able to ssh into the machine. Have you found a solution?eol– eol2024-10-25 06:31:01 +00:00Commented Oct 25, 2024 at 6:31

@eol I was not able to find an issue but I got another unit from the manufacture and it has been running for about 1.5 weeks now with no issues. Same software and hardware. Clearly its going to be a hardware issue, just not sure what it is. I am waiting to hear back from the manufacture once they get them back in their hands.CraftyMyner– CraftyMyner2024-10-26 12:36:13 +00:00Commented Oct 26, 2024 at 12:36

@CraftyMyner: Thank you for the update! I would greatly appreciate it if you could keep me posted on any findings from the manufacturer.eol– eol2024-10-27 09:48:24 +00:00Commented Oct 27, 2024 at 9:48

How to Tag
A tag is a keyword or label that categorizes your question with other, similar questions. Choose one or more (up to 5) tags that will help answerers to find and interpret your question.
- complete the sentence: my question is about...
- use tags that describe things or concepts that are essential, not incidental to your question
- favor using existing popular tags
- read the descriptions that appear below the tag
If your question is primarily about a topic for which you can't find a tag:
- combine multiple words into single-words with hyphens (e.g. shell-script), up to a maximum of 35 characters
- creating new tags is a privilege; if you can't yet create a tag you need, then post this question without it, then ask the community to create it for you
