Stop the web server: sudo systemctl stop apache2 //or if you are using Nginx sudo systemctl stop nginx

sudo systemctl stop apache2

sudo systemctl stop nginx

Run Certbot to obtain the certificate: sudo certbot certonly --standalone -d yourdomain.com
