    The command sudo nmcli connection modify "Wired connection 1" connection.mdns yes worked for me for enabling persistent mdns on a specific network connection on Ubuntu 22.04. However, the command sudo systemd-resolvedoes not work ("command not found") so I used resolvectl mdns instead to check the mdns status. Commented Jul 7 at 1:26
