Thanks @nidkil. This worked for me in Ubuntu Server 20.04 inside VirtualBox (just had to use enp0s3 instead of eth0, which I found using ifconfig).

@nidkil Check my answer below unix.stackexchange.com/a/763471/482816 as I suspect you have network manager installed also.
