It's not clear whether the wifi driver installer would be able to do the right thing off of simply having the new $KVERSION set.

@StevenLu this isn’t for use with a binary installer, it’s for use with an installer that builds drivers from source including headers and linking against the kernel based off a path that is derived from the version string.
