thanks. the objective of the second part it to get the start address, end address and the permission. So, if I already get each line, I still need to extract the information again.

Yes, after reading it, you have to go back and analyze / parse it. But you don’t want to read it a second time, which is what you seem to be talking about when you mention lseek.
