  • I do believe you'll find the information in the Linux From Scratch project, chapter 6 in particular. (It isn't minimal, though; the hints might have something useful for that.) Commented Oct 14, 2016 at 15:27
  • @phk I literally just need a vanilla kernel running with the minimum amount of cr*p and as small as possible, in my case it's probably better to just create files by hand since this is the last step that I need and I don't really pretend much . I can always compile later if I need more executables or libraries . Commented Oct 14, 2016 at 15:28
