Grand Theft Auto 6 Delayed Until Late 2026

Expected.

Grand Theft Auto 6 has been delayed once more. Rockstar's parent company, Take-Two, says that Rockstar Games needs "some additional time to finish the game with the high level of polish players expect and deserve."

The new release date set for Grand Theft Auto 6 is November 19, 2026. This date is still, as far as anybody knows, only for the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S release of the game. There has been no PC release even announced.

At least a dozen are confirmed out of a job.

The studio that developed, or assisted in developing, games like Thief, Deus Ex: Human Revolution (plus Mankind Divided), and Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy is again being hit by layoffs. Eidos-Montreal was hit by an undisclosed number of layoffs over the past, with several now-former employees announcing that they are no longer with the studio.

Thanks to some help from Nixxes.

In September 2025, Helldivers 2 developer Arrowhead said that reducing the install size of their game on PC was a top priority. Today, those efforts have started to bear fruit.

In a new post made to the Helldivers 2 Steam page, Arrowhead says that they were able to reduce the PC installation size by a whopping 131GB. With the help of Nixxes, the PC install size went from 154GB to 23GB after "de-duplicating" the data for Helldivers...

A new Steam Client Beta was released on November 25th. This beta changes the Steam client from 32-bit to 64-bit on Windows 10 and Windows 11.
