A multifandom vid I made for the Annual Sci Fi and Fantasy-Friendly Service (aka the Church of Latter-Day Geeks; May 2014).

Made for educational purposes, not for profit. Thanks to ash48 and ageless_aislynn for their super-helpful early input. And also thanks to those who gave me clip idea on my earlier journal post without knowing why. You all rock! Hopefully it screened today at the sermon without a hitch. :D

The latest ETV Experiment was finished recently and I love the results! Hope you do too! It was posted first to ETV HERE.

You all know by now I organise these group experiments for kicks. So here's the latest one. :)

Summary: The vidders voted on a theme: FEAR, then on some music. Starrylizard then cut up the song and handed out the pieces. All vidders work independently and at the end the pieces are stuck back together again to make a surprise, experimental, multifandom video.

So I recently ran The Great ETV Experiment (TGETVE) over at ETV forum. It's similar to TGRRVE I used to run over at SVS Forums, but multifandom.

And the result was pretty sweet if I do say so myself. :D

The theme was "happy". The selected song has lyrics about battling on no matter what. So even though there's a lot of happy moments in the vid, it's also dotted with some more heartfelt moments.

A very rough vid put together for challenge 3x21 Sorting Hat at tvrealm. One of the options was to cast all the characters mentioned in this song. No idea what's happened to the text though. It's perfectly crisp on the upload and then it goes all weird on the stream... *shrugs* Hope it isn't too heinous. Also music cut-off = cringe, but my edit of the song goes for another minute... may make a longer version if I get some time. Anyone got a TARDIS?

Notes: A Primeval fan vid made for be_themoon for festivids 2011. One of the requests was for a study of how dangerous and hard this job is which caught my fancy. I've thrown all the teams in as best I can, because there was no stated preference and they're all brilliant. I'm sure I missed a few members somewhere along the line, but I gave it my best shot at being all inclusive. Comments of all sorts welcomed with open arms and big smiles. Thanks to fredbassett and ash48 for their Primeval and editing beta help, respectively. Enjoy! :)

Vidder notes: This vid was very experimental on my part and it was heavily influenced by the official video clip to Santa Maria (Del Buen Ayre)Youtube link. If you haven't seen it, it's definitely worth a look. One of the many reasons I love Sherlock is the beautiful filming. The interesting camera angles, the simply amazing scene changes, the lighting and just the sheer detail that goes into this production. It really is top notch and it made this vid so simple to make. Really Sherlock did the work for me.

Notes: I always wanted to write a small fic about what's going on in Michael's head while he's running, but when I saw the prompt I decided to try a vid instead. Fic likely to follow. Thanks to ash48 for looking at several versions of this. I was indecisive about everything, but in the end I've gone with a very simple version.
