Can you post a full stack trace of the exception? And values in the Response and Status properties of the exception - msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/…: If a WebException is thrown, use the Response and Status properties of the exception to determine the response from the server.Eugene Podskal– Eugene Podskal2016-06-26 12:07:21 +00:00Commented Jun 26, 2016 at 12:07

There is no full stack, only this line of error that i mentioned in the title. Now, as far as the value is concerned, i cannot print it because the error lies there. any other suggestion? thank you for your timeBillUser88– BillUser882016-06-26 12:24:21 +00:00Commented Jun 26, 2016 at 12:24

I am not sure that we can help you without information from Response and Status fields of the exception. And full error message from the exception would also be of great use. In any case, have you tried to make a request without Proxy? Or to another host?Eugene Podskal– Eugene Podskal2016-06-26 12:30:22 +00:00Commented Jun 26, 2016 at 12:30

Well, without proxy the request and the response works absolutely fine. In any host i have the same error. How can i post the values of the response if i cannot print them with Console.WriteLIne? I can use debug for this?BillUser88– BillUser882016-06-26 12:37:17 +00:00Commented Jun 26, 2016 at 12:37

At worst case you can just put a breakpoint in the catch block that captures that exception and manually read those properties. Or use msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/… - it should write to the Debug pane in visual studio if you are debugging the application from it.Eugene Podskal– Eugene Podskal2016-06-26 12:38:51 +00:00Commented Jun 26, 2016 at 12:38

How to Tag
A tag is a keyword or label that categorizes your question with other, similar questions. Choose one or more (up to 5) tags that will help answerers to find and interpret your question.
- complete the sentence: my question is about...
- use tags that describe things or concepts that are essential, not incidental to your question
- favor using existing popular tags
- read the descriptions that appear below the tag
If your question is primarily about a topic for which you can't find a tag:
- combine multiple words into single-words with hyphens (e.g. python-3.x), up to a maximum of 35 characters
- creating new tags is a privilege; if you can't yet create a tag you need, then post this question without it, then ask the community to create it for you
