    How would you add a binary attachment? (i.e. a small image) - I can see changing the values for the Content-Disposition and Content-Type attributes but how to handle the 'content'? Commented Feb 5, 2015 at 20:54

    @ianbeks The browser does it automatically before sending the request. I don't know which heuristics it uses, but most likely the file extension is amongst them. This may answer the question: stackoverflow.com/questions/1201945/… Commented Feb 17, 2015 at 13:34
