The purpose of this project is primarily to create utilities for use with cnc milling machines, viz G-Code generation.
As a hoby we are building a simple cnc machine and using the LinuxCNC software to drive it. Refer http://www.linuxcnc.org/
Our main problem is finding simple ways to generate the G-Code to use with the above. Thus the initial utility that will be developed is a DXF to G-Code converter.
