Video resources for our clients

How do we explain to people the kind of work we do? Not just psychotherapy in general, but more specifically: How somatic approaches help make our work vibrantly alive and deep… How to better understand the context of the work we do… How somatic approaches relate to current scientific understanding of how the mind works…

In this page, we are putting together a list of video resources we can share with our clients. What kind of resources? Our focus here is on “bite-size”  videos lasting just a few minutes (under 10 minutes).

At this point, there are only three such resources:

– Allan Shore: This 6-minute video focuses on emotion and affect regulation

– Marjorie Rand: Several short videos on breathing techniques for stress reduction

– Patricia Frisch introduces Orgonomic therapy

Please share with us those videos you know about… Ask colleagues for resources they might know about… Search the internet for videos that would be appropriate for this project…

When you share a resource, it would be very helpful to give a brief description of what it is about. Many videos on the internet already come with a description, but it would be great if you could edit this description after seeing the video (if needed) to make the description more useful for the purpose of this project.

To send your contributions, please use the “Feedback” page of this site. New resources will be added when the page is updated (quarterly).
