Summary: It was an obviously trap, and Barbara would be angry with herself, if she wasn't so distracted.

For one long glorious moment, Barbara felt nothing.

She may have blacked out, she wasn’t sure.

Either way, it couldn’t last. The numbness vanished in a sudden burst of pain, fiery agony ripping up her right arm. She’d be lucky if it wasn’t broken. Her ribs were protesting as well, breath trapped in her chest. Winded and still choking on the surprised cry caught in her throat, and her hip was going to have one hell of a bruise on it come morning.

There was a part of her that really wanted to just lie there until she blacked out again, but even that worried little part of her brain knew it wasn’t possible. There were criminals out there, and Batgirl was needed, and she needed to get up and, damn, her head wouldn’t stop spinning.

Barbara forced her eyes open.

The first thing she noticed was the powder. It was everywhere. On the floor, on her cape, in her hair. In her mouth, uncomfortable feeling of grit on her lower lip, and it tasted like sugar and mint and blood. A dazzling yellow in colour, and it seemed to shimmer in the dim artificial light of the greenhouse.

Barbara concentrated on the powder, because it was easier than concentrating on the way her arm was screaming at her. It seemed to be glowing, and she blinked and tried to focus and realised that everything around her seemed to be shining, and that couldn’t be good. Everything was slightly bleached, the edges fuzzy, and maybe there were stars dancing in front of her eyes, and Barbara really needed to stand up.

“Ooh, you got them both good, Red!”

Harley Quinn, and Barbara could recognise that joy at somebody else’s pain as easily as the woman’s voice. Couldn’t recognise, however, quite where the voice was coming from. It seemed to echo around her, or maybe just in her head, and Barbara squeezed her eyes shut again and tried to pull herself together. And focused on one word.

Both.

She heard a groan, deep and low and obviously pained, and it sounded so close, as if it were right beside her, breath washing over her skin, and Barbara’s eyes snapped back open in a panic, but there was nobody near.

Another noise, a moan, a curse, and it took every last ounce of strength Barbara had to turn her head.

And there was Selina Kyle, the grey material of the Catwoman costume unevenly spotted with smears of bright yellow powder. Claws digging into the floor as she tried to push herself up, arms shaking with the effort. Painted lips open and panting harshly as she lurched onto all fours.

Barbara was dimly aware that everything was wrong. That she’d managed to stumble into a trap, that Poison Ivy and Harley Quinn were far too close for comfort, that she could barely move, and that she’d completely failed to notice that Catwoman had been up on the rafters with her in that brief moment before that vine had swung round with surprising strength and smacked into the back of Barbara’s head.

Unfortunately, as pressing as those issues were, Barbara found herself only able to focus on the way Selina’s catsuit stretched so temptingly over the curves of her thighs.

In a room where everything seemed to be dancing around her in an interesting contradiction of stark and ethereal, Selina seemed so very vivid, a mesmerising streak of colour and life, and Barbara knew that there was something not quite right but she couldn’t bring herself to look away.

“So, what does it do?” Harley cooed. “Does it poison them?”

Ivy laughed quietly, the kind of noise that usually set Barbara’s teeth on edge. “Not in the way you’re thinking of,” she answered.

There was something very important in those words, but Barbara couldn’t find it, couldn’t hold onto it, couldn’t think of or see anything other than Selina, and then she forgot how to breathe as Selina’s eyes locked with hers.

Selina shuddered, suddenly, eyes fluttering closed. Despite the distance, Barbara felt it echo through her, a fierce tremble that captured her entire body. Didn’t quite subside, and she was left shaking and there was heat coursing through her that had nothing to do with the shock and pain of her injuries.

Selina’s eyes caught Barbara’s gaze again, and she heard herself gasp, and then Selina was moving towards her. Crawling towards her, on her hands and knees, slow and purposeful, or maybe just careful and shaky, and Barbara felt herself break out in a cold sweat. Catwoman was slinking towards her, breasts swaying and eyes hooded, and Barbara wasn’t doing a thing to get away, would have been moving closer if her body would let her.

“What’s she doing?” Harley asked from seemingly far away.

Barbara could feel the heat on her cheeks, the fierce blush that was covering her face and slipping below the Batsuit. Uncomfortable, burning up, and oddly anxious, spine arching slightly against the floor as Selina reached her and stared down with a look that Barbara didn’t recognise.

“Just watch,” Ivy said, and it sounded like a whisper.

Selina studied her, and Barbara could only lay there, and she’s never felt quite so on display, and quite so giddy. There was a soft noise, almost like a whimper, and Barbara couldn’t be sure if it was from her own lips, although she suspected it was, and that felt very strange and when had she lost control quite so completely?

And then Selina was swinging one leg over Barbara’s thighs, straddling her, and thinking seemed beyond Barbara’s range.

Selina made a low noise, one that could almost be mistaken for a purr, and Barbara watched helplessly, or as helpless as she’d ever felt, as Selina lightly placed her hands on Barbara’s collarbone. Their eyes locked, and then she dragged her claws down Barbara’s chest, shredding the Batsuit as they moved, over the curve of Barbara’s breasts and down the plane of her stomach, and Barbara’s body reacted before she could.

No conscious thought about it, just Barbara’s thigh pressing up between Selina’s legs, and Selina’s eyes flew wide and everything seemed to stop.

Selina hissed under her breath, and pushed back down against Barbara’s thigh, and Barbara let out a breath she hadn’t known she’d been holding.

Selina’s hands were resting on her stomach, and Barbara felt the weight shifted onto them, and then Selina was using the leverage to push, to push back against Barbara’s thigh. And Barbara distantly recognised where she’s felt the frantic rush before, that quickening of her pulse, the need to fidget and watch and touch. Just couldn’t fathom why it might be anything other than natural to find herself lying on the floor with another woman moving over her, damp, desperation, and Barbara realised that she was probably more turned on than she’d ever been in her life. Watching Selina ride her, and Barbara needed her own pressure, found herself needing to press against something, to rub and feel, friction and relief, but she could barely move and she couldn’t bring herself to do anything but watch as Selina tilted her head back and whispered something Barbara couldn’t hear.

No real rhythm to it, just Selina moving as she needed it, and Barbara’s pulse rushing in her ears. Air and space between Barbara’s legs, but she still found her hips rolling of their own accord, and that made Selina groan and her hands pushed higher, over Barbara’s breasts. Fingers and palms and hint of gloves on the exposed skin between the claw tracks and Barbara whined and lurched up against those hands, and they squeezed at her, hard enough to make everything perfect. Twitching against her, almost like a massage, definitely like a tease, and Barbara willed everything she had into rubbing her thigh between Selina’s legs, and the air was buzzing around her, and the powder tasted wrong and wonderful in her mouth.

Selina growled, teeth baring, legs locking around Barbara’s thigh, and Barbara had never seen another woman orgasm before, but it was enough to coax at her own, taking her by surprise, shuddering and flushing, hands scraping at the floor. Rush of pleasure and intensity, over far too quickly, and Barbara felt sensitised and she still needed that friction, and she felt ready for more.

“I-I don’t get it,” Harley murmured, sounding strained.

“Don’t worry, just keep watching,” Ivy responded easily, settling back against a throne of vines.
