    +1 for me - The main point among all answers, for me, is that you should test things how they are called. If we were dealing with something more object oriented you could say just test the public interface - the same concept applies with functional programming too though - how is your stuff called? If only glue is called just test glue (other functions would be equivalent to private), if all are called from somewhere else test them all. Commented Jul 2, 2021 at 6:00
