Cryptic or not, once something becomes 'tradition', we (as a changing community) easily forget why we used it in the first place, and it is very easy for people to point at something that has always been there and declare its only there because it has always been there, completely missing the point of what it is there. I'd go so far as to say these points apply to everything in life, but I have no life, so maybe I shouldn't comment. | |
