How big is the result size? I can't think of why it would be necessary to store results in a temporary table. If there is an end user paging through results, why would they have need to see any more than 15-20 items at a time? Even if the page size is hundreds or low thousands I can't see a need to store in a temporary table?Ciaran Gallagher– Ciaran Gallagher2020-04-26 12:36:26 +00:00Commented Apr 26, 2020 at 12:36

Also, can you share some snippets of the code that you have so far? It's hard to help without seeing some code. Also what frameworks are you working with? Is this an ASP.NET MVC 5 application? Or is it a ASP.NET Core?Ciaran Gallagher– Ciaran Gallagher2020-04-26 12:37:02 +00:00Commented Apr 26, 2020 at 12:37

I have added sql query which uses temporary table for example. and also I need to store result, because I don't want to change search result if there is any, during navigation. I want to preserve initial result except that user does search again.Anonymous Creator– Anonymous Creator2020-04-26 12:47:31 +00:00Commented Apr 26, 2020 at 12:47

            How to Tag

A tag is a keyword or label that categorizes your question with other, similar questions. Choose one or more (up to 5) tags that will help answerers to find and interpret your question.
- complete the sentence: my question is about...
 - use tags that describe things or concepts that are essential, not incidental to your question
 - favor using existing popular tags
 - read the descriptions that appear below the tag

If your question is primarily about a topic for which you can't find a tag:
- combine multiple words into single-words with hyphens (e.g. design-patterns), up to a maximum of 35 characters
 - creating new tags is a privilege; if you can't yet create a tag you need, then post this question without it, then ask the community to create it for you
