Thanks for all the details. I remember looking at Auth0, but from what I can tell, Auth0 is cloud-only; is that correct? For security and privacy reasons, I am restricted to looking only at solutions that I can host in my own datacenter/personal cloud. Does Auth0 provide that kind of option?Eric B.– Eric B.2016-11-15 19:15:24 +00:00Commented Nov 15, 2016 at 19:15

Yes, Auth0 is very flexible in terms of deployment/hosting. The non-public cloud solution is currently known as Auth0 Appliance and you can deploy it either in a dedicated area of Auth0's cloud, your cloud, or your own data center. Check the Appliance docs for more information. If you need more detailed information let me know, I can either try to help you directly or point you to the right people.João Angelo– João Angelo2016-11-15 22:05:16 +00:00Commented Nov 15, 2016 at 22:05

How to Tag
A tag is a keyword or label that categorizes your question with other, similar questions. Choose one or more (up to 5) tags that will help answerers to find and interpret your question.
- complete the sentence: my question is about...
- use tags that describe things or concepts that are essential, not incidental to your question
- favor using existing popular tags
- read the descriptions that appear below the tag
If your question is primarily about a topic for which you can't find a tag:
- combine multiple words into single-words with hyphens (e.g. design-patterns), up to a maximum of 35 characters
- creating new tags is a privilege; if you can't yet create a tag you need, then post this question without it, then ask the community to create it for you
