Susan Pitocchi worked for the Muppet Workshop during the late 1990s. In 1999, she earned two Daytime Emmy nominations for her work on The Wubbulous World of Dr. Seuss and Bear in the Big Blue House.
In film, Pitocchi worked on the puppet team for Across the Universe (with Bill Irwin) and built a woodchipper toy for The Beaver (with Mel Gibson and Jodie Foster). She has further worked as a scenic artist on Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close (with Tom Hanks and Sandra Bullock), The Secret Life of Walter Mitty (with Ben Stiller), Joker (with Robert De Niro and Zazie Beetz), and the Amazon series Red Oaks (with Richard Kind).
