Thar SBC blows!!
No internet this weekend. We got some kind of virus at home so Pat's work server won't let us back on the network until we clean up our PC. So here I sit on my way home from going to the RAW recording with Erika and reading our respective "signature" pieces, at dumb fucking Kinko's listening to inane christmas music blaring on the overhead just so I can check my hotmail account.
We were SUPPOSED to have DSL as of Labor Day week - I mean, we started PAYING for it and all, so you would think. Nonetheless, here it is Dec., numerous phone calls to SBC later. Both Pat and I were on the phone w/them on and off all afternoon, taking copious notes and trying to get them to give us the service for which we are paying.
Grr. I always thought that dial up was way underrated, anyway.
