Help Somalia

I know that you have been waiting for a post concerning which charities to donate to and I am so sorry that it has not been posted yet. juliet42 is without access to the internet for the next couple of days and unable to post the list. While I get a one together myself I would appreciate any recommendations regarding which charities to donate to.

All of you are so awesome and I truly appreciate your patience with us. Thank you.

Here is a short list of non-profit organizations that are currently working in Somalia/Horn of Africa. The links go to the pages on the website detailing what the organizations are doing in the affected areas.

You can also go to the Charity Navigator page here. It has a list of highly-rated charities responding to the crisis.

ETA: The International Committee of the Red Cross is another excellent charity.
