Hey. [graceful beginning = is a go] Other people here keep track of the date, right? I mean, not the actual date [having no start point kind of shoots that plan in the foot] but how many days you've been here?
[she has her own method set up, but it's getting a little unwieldy.] I'd like to hear about how you do it. Any advice would be appreciated.

[or like an entire week or two, maybe more... he doesn't really care much about keeping track of time on a normal day, let alone in a situation where he has to put effort forth to do it.]

he isn't used to people actively striking up small talk though, so there's a brief pause before he continues.] Fair enough. We've been running a bit low on the supplies retrieved when the city changed so that's a bit of a nuisance, but it's still doable. ...What of yourself?

[ If Ange was a little better at emoting, that might have sounded a little surprised.. but for now it just sounds like deadpan much like everything else she says. She gave up on it a long time ago, she just thinks "about half a year" sounds good enough by now.. it feels like that, either way. ]

[it isn't the most elegant way of keeping track of things, he'll admit, but you can only do so much in a situation like this.]
audio;
Can't you write down the number of days you've been here?
can't believe i counted the days from the game starting
[It sounds horrible when laid out that way, such a long time, but he was at least pleased with managing to keep track.]
I take pebbles. I put a new one in one of the classrooms of the elementary school every day, then I know how many days have passed.
