Arvo Pärt turns 90 on September 11. In the decades since ECM introduced his music with the epochal Tabula Rasa album in 1984, he has become the most widely-performed contemporary composer. His new album "And I heard a voice", comprising known as well as previously unheard works by the composer – in performances by the Vox Clamantis vocal ensemble - is out now on ECM New Series.
