Welcome to mcr4u, the summer My Chemical Romance fic exchange! There's plenty of these sorts of things around Christmastime, usually, but not so much in the warmer months. So come one, come all.

How it works. You sign up, give us three fic-wishes (pairings with ideas), and specify what you're willing and unwilling to write. Once the sign-up period closes and match-ups are done, you get a person (and her/his wishlist) assigned to you. You keep your assignment a secret to maintain the element of surprise. Friend this community to get the updates.

What you write. You get three options (the person's three wishes) but you only have to write one of them, with a minimum word count of 1000 words (there is no maximum). You have roughly a month to finish your story. Please have your story beta-read. You'll be posting your entry yourself on this community, either the story itself or a link to it, after the given date.

Schedule. You can sign up until May 17th. Assignments will go out no later than June 1st. Your story is due July 1st NOW JULY 5TH!
