It's safe to display images that you put there. What's not safe is displaying an image that someone else uploaded. Splitting the two makes it much harder to review the actual problem: securing uploaded images while still making them available for display. And if you think that the code is overly-complicated and bloated, write an answer showing how that is so and how to fix it. | |
