Some housekeeping:
* Friends policy. My LJ is friends-locked. There are some public posts but they generally have anonymous/non-friend commenting disabled. If you want me to add you a) find me in a community (fairly easy) and ask; b) email me (or ask me in real life, if that's applicable); or c) friend me and I'll friend you back if I recognise you or am interested in your LJ. If you were recently cut email me if you want back in - I'm replying to everyone eventually, but I'm not guaranteeing anything.
* Moderation. I am a moderator/maintainer of several (diverse) communities, but I am NOT a moderator of certain others that I used to moderate, so do NOT approach me about any community issue anywhere without checking first that I can actually help you. Do NOT contact me about 'unfair' decisions made by me or my co-moderators; there are email addresses attached to most communities, to which such mail should be sent.
* Icons. Don't take any icons without permission. Copyright doesn't depend on labelling or declaring it, whatever an internet lawyer might tell you. And yes, I know there are screen grabs - that's not the point.

Other stuff:
* I don't tend to use real names. I won't screen comments (memes excluded if appropriate) but if you use my real name (or my immediate family's names) in a comment on an unlocked post I will probably screen it.
* I make polls asking for personal/private information occasionally. Answers will usually be set to None but I'll warn if they're not.
* At this point in time, most of my new LJ friends come from RL meetings or old friends getting new LJs, with occasional addition of people I know from LJ if there seems a good reason to add them. (Co-moderators, for instance.) I'm not actively seeking more (see friends policy above).
* This LJ can be quite "domestic" and trivial. I did warn you.
