Photographs
In the course of her modeling career Koriand’r posed for some of the best photographers around, from consummate professionals to visionary artists. For all that her favorite photographs were the ones Donna took of her.
There was something special about Donna’s pictures.
Donna’s time on Paradise Island had taught her the beauty of women’s power and that shone through in the photos she took of Koriand’r. There was strength to them, and also an intimacy. To most photographers, Koriand’r was other, an exotic alien creature, a lush golden mystery as vacant as her eyes.
Donna understood that there was more to her. They had been teammates and roommates, friends who loved each other. Donna’s camera always seemed not just to show Koriand’r as she truly was but to glory in it.
There was love in those photographs, a love that had endured an infinity of changes.
