This research was authorized by the Research and Training Committee of AHCI (Charity Hospital Association of Ijui), to which the Center for High Complexity in Oncology (CACON) is linked, and subsequently it was submitted and approved by the Research Ethics Committee of the Federal University of Santa Maria (UFSM), according to CNS Resolution 466/2012 of the National Health Council, which regulates research involving human beings, under CAAE 46664815.7.0000.5346 and Opinion 1.188.801.

O Estado de Sao Paulo foi selecionado por ser o unico a disponibilizar, via Fundacao Oncocentro de Sao Paulo (FOSP), dados dos Registros Hospitalares de Cancer (RHC) para todos os casos registrados e que receberam tratamento nos CACON do Estado (9).

Recent crustal movements are also geodetically monitored in this area at selected geodynamic polygons (Cacon and Dyjor, 1995, 2002; Cacon, 1998; Schenk et al., 1998, 2002a; and references therein).

An ecological study was carried out to analyze outpatient chemotherapy in public and SUS-affiliated private health service facilities, certified by the Ministry of Health (MOH) as one of three different types: 'high-complexity oncology center' (CACON), which gives comprehensive treatment to all types of cancers; 'high-complexity oncology center unit' (UNACON), that targets only the most prevalent cancer types, and includes at least chemotherapy and surgical services; or 'hospital complex-based oncology clinics' that only dispense chemotherapy to prevalent cancer types (10).

In (Cacon et al., 2010) the study of local geodynamic processes Stolowe Mts in Central Sudetes located on the border of the Czech Republic and Poland is presented.

The first polygon was the Snieznik Klodzki network (Baran et al., 1993; Cacon et al., 1997; Dabrowski & Jamroz, 2000; Jamroz, 2000); later on the "Paczkow Graben", "Stolowe Mts.", and GEOSUD polygons were established (Cacon & Dyjor, 1999).
